Under the guidance of the Head of Marketing Europe the Senior Marketing Specialist (m/f), Event and Online Marketing, will be responsible for all European trade shows and related events from inception to finish and including flanking online measures. In his/her role the candidate will also work very closely with our Taiwan headquarters and other stakeholders across all regions.
Events and Online Marketing
As project lead (m/f) for all European events the candidate will:
Review and/or modify our overall event approach, for trade shows, seminars, roadshows and solution days - both in terms of strategic business alignment and look and feel
Based on the corresponding analysis he/she will also influence the selection of events across Europe
The candidate will develop and/or deploy appropriate concepts in close cooperation with our internal and external PR functions as well as other relevant stakeholders
Define, deploy and monitor ROI as well as budget
Support and/or host corporate events on an as needed basis
Develop and deploy Marketing Automation campaigns in close cooperation with our Digital Team mainly as flanking measures for our events, including but not limited to eDMs, newsletters and/or campaigns
Leverage social media, event apps etc. for efficient event support
Work in close cooperation with our channel marketing team for online support
Monitor results and devise corrective measures as needed; including metrics obtained by e. g. Google analytics and CRM reports, etc.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ideally minimum five years of pan-European marketing support or similar working experience
Fluent (written and spoken) in German and English
Other European languages a plus (preferably French and/or an Eastern European language)
Ability to communicate and convince cross-functional and hierarchical functions
Good judgment and strategic thinking
Creative mind and a self-starter
Project management and intercultural skills
Microsoft Office suite competence (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Graphic design software competence such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
Preferably Digital Marketing / Social Media experience as well as associated tools
